Reviews

Closer to the town of Mendoza, this hotel has just been awarded #1 landscape hotels in South America. Each room has a different theme to it that is wine related and they are decorated slightly differently. The menu at Entre Cielos is however quite expensive compared to other properties in the region, which detracted a little from my stay. A real plus point for me was the Hamaam that can be included in your stay. You can do the hamaam circuit in about an hour and it has eight stations including a pool and a variety of saunas.

Entre Cielos is a wonderful place to relax in comfort, enjoy the amazing spa and haman and indulge yourself in the delicious food and wine on offer. I stayed here in May, out of the high season, and I was struck by the brilliant reds and oranges of the changing vines, set against the backdrop of the snow capped Andes. The views were simply stunning. I'd highly recommend taking a bike or horse riding tour to visit some of the vineyards in the surrounding area and if you're feeling really active (and don't mind the long drive to get there!) you can venture further afield and climb Argentina's famous peak of Aconcagua.

Your first impression as you arrive on the very outskirts of Mendoza is an oasis of vines, beautiful trees and a magnificent view stretching over their vineyard to the Andes mountains in the distance. A small luxury boutique hotel which is family run with a wonderful Hamam and Spa, is a perfect base for exploring the wine lands and town of Mendoza. Whether dining in their excellent restaurant or on their terrace overlooking the beautiful pool and mountains, or joining into their Asados (Argentinian Bar B Q) evening, exploring the neighboring vineyards for wine tastings and beautiful tasting menus, bicycling around the local village or touring the distant Uco Valley vineyards, there is something for everyone at this unique hotel. Cecile and her team will suggest activities, excursions and recommend local restaurants including some wacky inventions like touring the vineyards in an authentic 2CV. A wonderful romantic spot to unwind, relax in their eclectic and extremely comfortable rooms and suites, enjoy sipping their wine on your terrace overlooking the gardens and pool and as they say, Viviendo La Vida. Live life.
