There is wildlife in the Peninsula Valdes year-round however Southern Right Whale season is from June to December. May to September is winter and many hotels in Southern Patagonia close for the season. The Lake District has something to offer throughout the year. Between November and April temperatures are at their warmest with December to February being peak summer and when the region is at its busiest. However, the Lake District is particularly beautiful in spring (October) and autumn (March ) and may be favoured by nature enthusiasts at this time of year.
