What's the most exciting wildlife sighting you’ve ever encountered?
Grizzly bears in Alaska on foot, a few feet away. A pride of 20 lions hunting a buffalo in the Serengetti - both incredible.

What's the best thing you've ever brought back from your travels?
I'm a huge collector of vinyl so my favourite souvenirs are all LPs. I love finding out of the way record stores in unexpected places.

What is the best hotel you've ever stayed at and why?
Sheldon Chalet in Alaska is just off the scale in terms of a remote, wilderness experience.
