After breakfast, head to the Kim Noi village located high in the mountains, on the way you will follow parts of the road of the Photographer's Road and see countless rice terraces. Upon arrival in Kim Noi, start to walk downhill through majestic rice terraces, enjoy some of the best views of Mu Cang Chai with a winding road going through multiple viewpoints and offering incredible views on the area.
Halfway through the trek, the landscape starts to change with more trees and slightly less rice terraces, continuing to walk downhill passing several small waterfalls until reaching a small Hmong village. The last kilometer of the trek is again on a concrete path passing a small village and going downhill for one last time through beautiful rice terraces.
Upon reaching the main road, continue on a 15 minutes steep walk uphill to reach a local Hmong house offering an authentic cultural encounter. Spend some time understanding the local culture, get to know the specificities of local architecture, listen to traditional Hmong music and participate in a batik workshop with a local Hmong woman.
Return to the hotel in the mid-afternoon.
