One of the most beautiful buildings in the city, set in Lam Son Square at the cultural heart of Saigon, the stunning Park Hyatt is a luxury colonial property and is the perfect base to start exploring one of Vietnam's most fascinating cities.
The Park Hyatt is located across the street from the city’s graceful French-built opera house and within walking distance of the city’s main tourist attractions, shopping and entertainment. With its impressive façade, elegant and traditional rooms and stylish restaurants, this is the ideal setting to relax after a day of sightseeing in Ho Chi Minh, or Saigon as it is more commonly known.
Rooms at the Park Hyatt have stunning city or pool views and are contemporary, light, spacious and elegantly furnished with colonial touches. Rooms are spacious enough to enjoy the fantastic in room dining available, or enjoy the fabulous Italian cuisine at the relaxed Opera Restaurant overlooking Lam Son Square or Vietnamese and Western food prepared in the open kitchens of Square One. The bars here are also worth a visit, with 2 Lam Son offering a contemporary setting complete with DJs and an illuminated glass bar for the buzzing Saigon crowd.
The Park Hyatt Saigon boasts an impressive spa, a fitness center and a beautiful 20 meter outdoor swimming pool set in a landscaped tropical garden. It is no surprise that the hotel itself has become one of the new landmarks in this dynamic city.

Park Hyatt in Saigon is a great retreat from the busy city. Lovely colonial French design, spacious rooms and great food - you can't go wrong! Large pool area and jungle like gardens in which to relax, perfect after a busy morning in the city.

Having just undergone a major refurb in 2015, the Park Hyatt is looking better than ever before. The work has taken it to another level in Saigon and I can now say it's one of the most tastefully decorated hotels I've ever had the pleasure in staying in. The designers have got the perfect mix of sophistication whilst keeping the underlying traditional values throughout. It has really lightened the whole place up! The staff are unbelievably friendly and professional on equal measure. The rooms are light, bright & airy and the pool area is one of the best in Saigon, a great place to put your feet up after a hard day on them!

The Park Hyatt has the most amazing pool and relaxation area in the middle of the hotel. I walked in here and felt that I was in a resort not a city hotel surrounded by tropical trees and flowers with the pool surrounded by sun beds and cabanas. It was bliss coming back here after days exploring Saigon.

This grand, French colonial style hotel could not be better located in the city. It is situated in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City, right opposite the Opera House. It is a very well designed hotel and offers a luxury retreat in a lively, bustling city, with incredibly helpful staff.
While I was there they were about to do a big renovation on the whole place, maintaining the traditional colonial French style, but making it lighter, brighter and even more luxurious. The mock up bedroom I saw was stunning and will bring a fresh, modern look to the hotel.
This is definitely the hot spot to stay in the city. Notably there is the fashionable martini bar and trendy restaurant Square One offering superbly put together Vietnamese dishes among other things. The swimming pool is the biggest of all the city hotels and the restaurants are arguably some of the best. This is definitely one of my favorite stops offs in the city.

Elegant, beautiful and understated luxury at its finest. This is the place to stay when in Saigon!
Everything here is crisp and beautifully presented without being over the top and what was so noticeable here was just how much natural light there is pouring though into the rooms and the public areas. The swimming pool area is a lovely haven to relax after a day of exploring chaotic Saigon. Some of the rooms have a small terrace out onto the pool area and I would highly recommend one of these.
I think the management here have got it right and all the staff look very happy to be working here which creates a lovely atmosphere. Even in the restaurants the chefs are very interactive with guests creating more of an experience for you. Highly recommend.
There’s Christian Louboutin-standard luxury, too. We find it later, when we reach Ho Chi Minh City - which everyone still calls Saigon - at the Park Hyatt, with its five-star service and Micheline-starred restaurant. It’s a city selling French-designed linens, embroidery and fine silk clothes., where Vietnamese contemporary art goes for international prices. Perhaps the city has gone full circle and once again fancies itself to be Paris.

The Park Hyatt offers so much more than a typical city hotel, with excellent restaurants, a delightful pool and a spa that seems out of place as just on the other side of the walls are the busy streets teeming with motorbikes. The location of the Park Hyatt could not be better, within easy walking distance of all that Saigon has to offer including the main sights such as the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Opera House as well as the smart international shops. If you are into art, either viewing or collecting then ask the Concierge for their map of local galleries. There is some excellent art to be found in town and they will be able to point you in the right direction of all the best places.
