The Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage is a luxurious resort in Palm Springs, California, set on a hilltop enjoying superb views of the city, mountains and desert scenery. An ideal base for exploring all this area has to offer, from adventure activities and golf to shopping and fine dining.

There is an impressive spa with fifteen treatment rooms and treatments using locally sourced ingredients, ideal if you're in need of a bit of rest and relaxation. Facilities also include a swimming pool, fitness center and an extensive network of hiking trails right from the property. There's an impressive kids club, too - Ritz Kids caters to children aged 5 - 12 years old, with various activities including environmental projects, storytelling, animal meet-and-greets and a children's movie theater.

The rooms and suites are stylishly furnished, with crisp linens and the majority with private balconies and patios. All include WiFi internet, air conditioning and large flatscreen TVs in the bedroom. The en-suite bathrooms feature bathtubs and showers, plush bathrobes and a 19-inch HD television custom-built into the bathroom vanity unit.

You have plenty of dining options available to you in-resort, as well as a wealth of options in Palm Springs itself. The Air Pool Bar serves relaxed dishes poolside, as well as cocktails overlooking the pool. The State Fare Bar and Kitchen serves breakfast lunch and dinner, making the most of the abundant fresh produce found in California and with an open kitchen. There's a choice of dining options here including a cozy fireplace area and dining on the terrace overlooking the gardens and pools. The Edge Steakhouse offers superb views of the valley in a luxurious dining environment with a menu focussed on prime stead, seafood and fine wines. In-room dining is also available 24-hours.
