Best time to Visit
Good time to visit
Average time to visit
Las Vegas has a desert climate with cool winters and extremely hot summers. The most pleasant seasons are spring and fall, especially if you want to experience the great outdoors.
Weekdays are slightly less crowded than weekends. Vacations are always a mob scene and come accompanied by high hotel prices. Hotel prices also skyrocket when big conventions and special events are taking place. The slowest times of year are June, July, and August; the week before Christmas; and the week after New Year's.

Description
The luxury Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas offers a sophisticated resort experience. The hotel is non-gaming but adjacent to the Mandalay Bay Resort and just steps away from the city's signature nightlife should you be seeking the full Las Vegas experience.
The art-deco inspired Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas offers an elegant and luxurious retreat from the city, despite its location on the famous strip with its infectious buzz and heady nightlife. Decor is tasteful and the overall feel is grown up yet playful, making this a wonderful choice for both couples and families.
Rooms and suites are glamorous with the bold art-deco theme running throughout; colorful artwork features on the walls and marble bathrooms and modern amenities create a feeling of sophistication. Some boast views over the strip itself whilst others overlook the dramatic valley landscape in the opposite direction. For infants and children, cribs are available and rollaway beds can be accommodated in most rooms for an additional charge.
Facilities at the Four Seasons Las Vegas include a stylish pool area with private cabanas, a spa offering a range of pampering massages and beauty treatments, a nail bar, a fully-equipped fitness center, the Veranda Restaurant & Bar and the Charlie Palmer Steakhouse & Bar. There is also easy access to the Mandalay Bay Resort next door with its numerous pools, lazy river, restaurants and venues showcasing unforgettable performances from the likes of the Cirque du Soleil.
Accommodation
There are 424 guest rooms at the Four Seasons Las Vegas, including 81 luxury suites, all of which are positioned on higher floors to enhance the views over the city and the surrounding valley which can be enjoyed through floor-to ceiling windows. Rooms are art-deco inspired but remain contemporary and are furnished with a range of modern amenities and the latest technology to allow maximum comfort; multi-media hubs and LED TVs are found in all rooms and suites. WiFi is complimentary and all rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, a refrigerated private bar, in-room safe, down duvets and pills, hair dryer, thick terry bathrobes and hypoallergenic pillows on request.
Childcare
Babysitting services can be arranged and the hotel is assuredly family-friendly, with children's amenities and toiletries, popcorn and soda on arrival for teens, children's menus available in the restaurants and the option to childproof rooms. Upon request, strollers are available, as well as high chairs, play pens and cribs and a basket of infant essentials can be provided. Complimentary board games and a DVD library are available and guests will have access to several free-form pools, a wave pool and a lazy river.
Facilities
The Veranda Restaurant serves up a menu of authentic Italian cuisine, offering a selection of pastas, wood-fired pizzas and fresh seafood while those with an appetite for a juicy steak should head to Charlie Palmer's in the lobby which provides a relaxed yet sophisticated club atmosphere, as well a delicious drinks menu. Light snacks and desserts can be ordered at the pool bar. For alternative dining options head next door to the Mandalay Bay Resort where there is a selection of 20 restaurants.
There is also a wonderful spa at the Four Seasons, complete with 16 treatment rooms, a fitness center and a nail bar.
Activities
Naturally, gaming enthusiasts have a world of choice at their door along the strip, but if you want more than to just stroll the strip, there are also spectacular international shows to catch, first class restaurants by celebrity chefs to feast at, and the vast Nevada desert to explore for nature lovers and adventurers.
You can also be out in the desert within 30-minutes for a whole world of outdoor adventures, and driving out to Death Valley (on the Hwy 160, approx 2-hours 30-minutes) to explore the barren and harsh landscapes from the comfort of an air-conditioned car. Driving by sand dunes, craters and giant desert boulders and spotting desert wildlife make for a memorable day-trip. In the height of the summer, air-con is a must with temperatures reaching 49 degrees and its best to set off early. Entry to the park is $20 per car for a 7-day pass.
Reviews
Greg Salmon (Staff)
After leaving the hustle and bustle of the strip I was welcomed with nothing less than the exceptionally warm and welcoming greeting typical of the Four Seasons. The luxury art deco inspired rooms further reflect the worldwide consistency associated with the resort, boasting fantastic strip facing or mountain views. Children are well catered for with offerings of warm cookies upon arrival and the overriding feeling of nothing is too much trouble resonates throughout the resort.
