In recent years, the hotel engaged designer Philippe Starck to reinvigorate its belle époque beauty for the 21st century. Taking his inspiration from the world of yachting, Starck has woven exposed red brick, nautical-inspired wood, chrome, marble, soft leather, and original artworks, into a tasteful and inviting symphony of muted tones and mid-century modernism.
With just 40 rooms and suites, expect impeccable and personal service. The décor is a masterclass in elegant minimalism, with neutral hues, warm woods, and sumptuous bathrooms.
