From May to August the Yala monsoon brings rain to the island’s southwestern half. The southwest has the highest rainfall – up to 4000mm a year. There is also an inter-monsoonal period in October and November when rain can occur in many parts of the island. Colombo and the low-lying coastal regions have an average temperature of 27°C. The sea stays at around 27°C all year. Climatically speaking, the driest (and best) seasons in Sri Lanka are from December to March for the west and south coasts.
To start planning your vacation to Sisindu C
Sisindu C is a stylish villa located on Sri Lanka's South Coast, close to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Galle Fort. Sisindu C is a beach front villa with a private garden and its own swimming pool. It comes fully staffed, including a chef.
Sisindu C is a small, self contained oasis of calm. It is perfect for small families, or friends traveling together. The two bedrooms are charmingly decorated, light, airy and facing towards the ocean. The garden leads out to the beach, and the dining-living space downstairs is open to the sky.
If you are active and want to explore Sri Lanka, Sisindu C is perfectly located to access Marissa Water Sports Center, the beautiful colonial town of Galle and turtle hatcheries along the coast. If you simply want to relax and forget about the outside world, Sisindu C is very private and quiet and ideal for such occasions.
The garden lawn spreads out in front of the property until you reach a picket fence which separates the beach from the Garden. None of the beaches in Sri Lanka are private so this fence is very welcoming and gives you the extra element of privacy.
The villa is perfectly designed and will become a home away from home, no matter how long you are staying. It's ideal to add to the end of your vacation so that you return home totally relaxed and bronzed.
The villa is fully staffed. Included are a chef, cleaner and night watchman.
There are just two rooms at Sisindu C, both identical to each, with en-suite bathrooms and King sized beds.
The epicenter of this small Villa is the downstairs lounge, bar, dinning area. From there the villa opens up directly to the garden, where there is a small pool and sun beds. The rooms are upstairs facing the sea.
Sisindu C is a self sufficient Vila and although the staff will be very happy to organize anything you might want to do, there are not a huge amount of activities on offer.
Jessica Cator (Staff)
I thought Sisindu C was beautiful. It's been wonderfully designed to make a small space feel open and airy. The Villa has a really homely feel to it, and the contained nature of the garden adds an element of safety for families with young children. The staff are incredibly friendly and the chef is excellent I wish I could have stayed longer!
