Typically, spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the best times to go to South Korea, since this is when the country’s naturally breathtaking scenery comes alive. Spring and autumn are the slightly cooler seasons with less chance of rainfall compared to that of the wet and hot summer months and colder winter months.

This chic beachfront hotel is your home for the next two nights and comes complete with rooftop pool and stunning harbor and sea views.

Once you’ve checked in, it’s time to explore the wonderful Gamcheon cultural village with your guide. A complex of colorful houses that are built in a staircase fashion on the foothills of the coastal mountains. Formerly the ‘slums’ of Busan, today the area is a myriad of thriving streets with fascinating art galleries and studios, cafés and restaurants, with the exteriors vibrantly decorated with murals and sculptures created by the residents. Next, you will enjoy an exhilarating ride on the Songdo Marine Cable Car. With 39 cabins, including some with transparent floors, you will travel over the ocean between Songnim Park on the east and Amnam Park on the west, with breathtaking views of the stunning coastline and sea below. Return to the hotel for the evening to enjoy its impressive facilities or see more of this great location and explore the amazing local restaurant, bar and food scene.

After a lovely relaxing breakfast, your day will start with a well-deserved slice of zen. You will be met by your expert guide to visit Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, a beautiful temple built in the rocks on the rugged coastline, which is a Buddhist sanctuary home to a myriad of ornate carvings. This is a fascinating look into the cultural past of Busan. Afterwards, you will head for some well-earned relaxation at the Centum City Spa Land. The Spa Land consists of 22 spas fed by two different all-natural springs, you will have a chance to experience 13 distinctively themed Jjimjilbang and saunas, and an open-air foot spa. Keeping the relaxed feeling alive you will head to the Bay 101 Yacht Club, a popular outdoor dining district on the water’s edge of Busan, giving a lovely cosmopolitan feel to the area. Here, you can embark on a luxury scenic yacht cruise tour, soaking up the city views and lights by night. What is more romantic than being on the water at nightfall? Rounding off a wonderful day in Busan, before you head to the buzz of Seoul the following day.
