NamibRand Nature Reserve
The NamibRand Nature Reserve is a private nature reserve located in south-west Namibia. Established to help protect and conserve the unique ecology and diversity of wildlife of the Namib desert, the reserve works hard to conserve, research and educate people about the wonderful desert environment.
Also boasting some of the best dark skies and star gazing in the world, the NamibRand recognises the importance of keeping the night sky dark to avoid a negative impact on both plant and animal species.
