Within 20 Degrés Sud, each of the 36 rooms and suites look onto the pretty coconut grove facing the sea and have been individually designed by Belgian interior designer, Flamant. The rooms have been decorated using specially selected furnishings and antiques, creating a personal 'home from home' atmosphere with a distinct French elegance flair. The four Austral Suites are equipped with a private plunge pool, and for ultimate luxury, the ground floor suites have a large Jacuzzi each. These suites have terraces less than two meters from the water and the breathtaking views of the blue sea create an exceptional setting.
The restaurant at 20 Degrés Sud principally serves the finest in Mauritian local produce. The kitchen is directed by the talented Mauritian chef, Sanjeev Purahoo, who will prepare fresh fish dishes or, if you prefer, a six-course lobster menu on request. A fabulously romantic evening can be spent on the hotel's beautifully restored salon boat, 'M/S Lady Lisbeth' dining whilst cruising around the beautiful bay.
