Camel Safari in Wadi Rum
Wadi Rum, Jordan
Take an hour to wander through Wadi Rum on the back of a camel. It is best done in the late afternoon as the sun sets, when the dramatic red desertscape is at its most stunning, or in the morning when the air is clear and crisp.
Whilst camels are arguably not be the most comfortable form of transportation, the majority of people will agree that this is a must-do experience in the desert, particularly for first-time visitors. The slow pace will also allow you to gain a greater appreciation of the incredible scenery.
You will have a Bedouin guide with you. After an hour of riding, it is possible to enjoy a cup of tea with your guide.
