The Kempinski Aqaba is a modern and stylish hotel with a private beach on the Red Sea, boasting views over the Gulf of Aqaba, excellent service and very good facilities. It is located within an easy distance of Wadi Rum and the spectacular Petra.
The Kempinski has a kids club, but it is quite small making it a much better hotel for adults, particularly due to its serene and sophisticated atmosphere
The bathrooms have huge windows so guests can look out across the bedroom to the Red Sea and Sinai mountains beyond
The Panoramic Rooms have amazing views, directly onto the Red Sea
There is a good choice of restaurants, including fresh seafood
The Kempinski Aqaba has 200 rooms and suites, all of which overlook the Red Sea, due to the curved design of the hotel. The decor is clean and contemporary with a bit of a seaside feel, featuring lots of bright whites and blues.
There are a number of dining options, including AM/PM, the main restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner. The Walk is located along the beachfront offering food such as pizza as a lunchtime option. Seafood is served at Fish In, and Aqua Lounge and Sea Breeze are also quite informal. Black Pearl, the hotel's sports bar, is open until the early hours.
The hotel has a spa equipped with a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi, as well as treatment rooms for a range of beauty therapies and massages. Some local products are used, which contain Dead Sea mud and salt, as well as thalassotherapy. There is also a well-equipped gym and a great outdoor pool located just steps from the beach.
There are lots of watersports activities available, including jetskis and kayaks, and the Red Sea is one of the best places in the world for diving and snorkeling.
