Straddling the equator, Indonesia tends to have a fairly even climate year-round. Rather than four seasons, Indonesia has two – wet and dry – and there are no extremes of temperature between winter and summer.
In most parts of Indonesia, the wet season falls between October and April and the dry season between May and September. December and January see Bali at its most humid, with relative humidity averaging 85% and rain tends to come in sudden tropical downpours, but it can also rain for more prolonged periods. Throughout the rainy season the temperature does not tend to vary much and with the rain comes cooling relief but increased humidity.

The Bulgari Resort Bali is perched on a stunning cliff top on the islands far south-western tip, uniquely positioned at more than 150 meters above the sea. The theme here is definitely a blend between traditional Balinese style and contemporary Italian design, with a sleek, luxe twist. There is a lot of black here, volcanic stones and sleek dark lines which I wasnt sure about initially but as you explore more of the resort and keep the brand in mind, it all seems to fit. The walls around the resort are natural stone and very high, giving an almost temple-like atmosphere and it is incredibly private and quiet. As the property is nestled between the cliff and the ocean, the beach is accessible only through the resorts inclined elevator however the waves are rather rough (being in the Uluwatu area) and there is a reef right on the beach so it is not ideal for swimming. I would recommend the Bulgari for those who have an affinity with the brand or those who are looking for something incredibly exclusive and sleek - it has the feel of an elite members club and its enviable position on the cliffs will reward you with the most stunning views.
