Itinerary
India is an undeniably romantic destination. Full of rich culture, adventure, beautiful scenery and something new around each corner, you cannot help by be amazed. Through this itinerary, designed especially with honeymooners in mind, you’ll visit Udaipur, Shahpura, Jaipur, Delhi and then to finish the beautiful coast of Neeleshwar in Kerala.

Days 1-4: Udaipur
Starting off the itinerary you will have three nights in Rajasthan’s most romantic city, Udaipur. Full of ancient temples, palaces and havelis overlooking Lake Pichola, this is a magical destination for your first stop in India. On arrival you will be met by your private guide and driver who will be on hand throughout your entire stay. During your time in the city we have included a beautiful walking tour of Old Udaipur, a labyrinth of intertwining side streets full of stalls jampacked with leather goods, spices and jewelry. No trip to Udaipur would be complete without a trip along Lake Pichola which have of course included for you alongside the highlights of impressive City Palace, Crystal Gallery and garden of maids.

Days 4-6: Shahpura, Rajasthan, India
From Udaipur you will drive north to Shahpura, with a stop along the way to the Eklingji and Nagda Temples just outside of Udaipur to slightly break your journey. Providing a great stop over between Udaipur and Jaipur, we have included Shahpura Bagh for you for two nights providing a chance to immerse in the beautiful countryside and experience rural Rajasthan. Away from the main tourist trail, you can choose to do as little or as much as you like here with lovely walks to the surrounding lakes and countryside, boat trips, cycling tours and delicious picnics all available.

Days 6-9: Jaipur
Then from Shahpura it is on to Jaipur which will be just over a four hour drive and where you will be spending your next three nights. Named the Pink City, due to the fact that every building in the walled center is painted terracotta pink, it is beautiful to explore. Full of grand palaces and vibrant and buzzing streets it is one of the most complex cities in Rajasthan but have no fear as your guide will be on hand to show you all the highlights. During your three nights here, we have included visits to the impressive Amber Fort which is more than 400 years old; the City Palace, the Observatory dating back to the era of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh and the iconic Palace of Winds with its honeycomb structure.

Days 9-12: Delhi
Next, it is on to Delhi which you will reach by a short internal flight of just an hour from Jaipur. One of the oldest cities in India and now perhaps the largest there is a wealth to explore in this frenetic and colorful city. With two nights here, we have included one day to explore Delhi itself on arrival from Jaipur with a rickshaw through Old Delhi and a visit to Jama Mosque, Humayun’s Tomb, and a leisurely drive through New Delhi taking in the beautiful boulevards and architecture largely inspired and driven by Lutyens. On your next full day you will take the fast train to Agra to see the incredible Taj Mahal and ultimate testament to love.

Days 12-16: Neeleshwar
For your final stop in India you will take a direct flight from Delhi to Mangalore, which will be about three hours into the heart of Kerala. From here you’ll be whisked away to the coast of Neeleshwar for four nights of relaxation and time to soak up the sun. If you like to keep active there is plenty to keep you entertained including a visit to the Bekal Fort, walking in the Western Ghats and wildlife tours to see the rare Olive Ridley turtle.
