Itinerary

Fly to Venice
Day 1-4

Venice

Kick off your adventure in the beautiful and iconic Venice, Italy’s spectacular floating city. Built across a series of canals, Venice is packed with history, culture and awe-inspiring architecture. Get lost in the winding streets admiring iconic sights such as the elegant Rialto Bridge spanning the Grand Canal.  You will be staying at the elegant Baglioni Hotel Luna, the oldest hotel in Venice, a Venetian palace just steps away from Piazza San Marco, overlooking San Giorgio Island.

Embark on a private walking tour where your expert guide will talk you through the history of St Mark’s Square and the Doge’s Palace, before heading into Venice’s backstreets to discover some of the city’s hidden gems. End your visit with a gondola ride through the canals and enjoy seeing the city from a new perspective, in real Venetian style. After three nights exploring the city, take the ferry across the Adriatic Sea to Croatia.

Accommodation: Baglioni Hotel Luna ( 3 nights )
Day 4-8

Istria

In Croatia you’ll arrive at the port of Rovinj, a picturesque fishing town on the Istrian peninsula. Thanks to its location so close to Italy, here you’ll see the Venetian influence in the town’s architecture, from its winding cobbled streets to its charming Italian-style piazzas. You will be staying at Monte Mulini, located on a quiet scenic bay, just a ten-minute sea front walk to the medieval town of Rovinj. Set right on the sea, and nestled amongst green pine trees, this hotel looks onto an expansive national park. Croatia is renowned for its lovely clear water and its pebbly beaches and you can swim from the hotel's private beach. Or if you are feeling adventurous you can walk or cycle with a picnic into the national park to find hidden beaches. The coast is also covered with little islands, perfect for exploring from one of the small boats that are available to hire locally.

Take the road less traveled with your private guide and head inland to Istria’s beautiful hilltop towns.  Discover the stunning natural scenery of Mirna river valley and travel through beautiful landscapes towards Groznjan, a picturesque town known for its artists. Wander through the medieval streets and admire the ancient architecture before stopping for a delicious traditional lunch. Finally, you'll visit Motovun, a charming town perched on the very top of the hill, offering breath-taking vistas.
Accommodation: Monte Mulini ( 4 nights )
