Hidden amongst tall pines, in beautiful Jasper National Park, Tekarra Lodge is a relaxing resort surrounded by outstanding scenery. The pretty cabins, been built utilizing local hardwood, come with cozy stone fireplaces, kitchen or kitchenette, and a private deck which is just the spot for reading a book, admiring the scenery or gazing up to the clear starlit sky. There are also more typical standard-style hotel rooms available above the restaurant. Local wildlife watching options are varied with deer, elk, squirrels, and pine martins nearby. Staff offer a whole host of leisure activities including white water rafting, golfing, horseback riding, rock climbing, paddle boarding. After working up an appetite the Tekarra Restaurant in the main lodge promises an inviting dining room, locally-inspired cuisine and an outdoor patio from which deer and elk are sometimes seen.
