Description
The luxurious Algodon Mansion is a jewel in the heart of Buenos Aires’ most exclusive neighborhood, Recoleta, known for its broad tree-lined avenues, fashionable boutiques, restaurants, galleries, and beautiful Belle Epoque architecture.

Reviews
(Press)
Theres nowhere else like it in the city. Its everything you want from a bigger hotel, but super-discreet. And its hard not to coo over the decor. New York-based Scott Mathis emptied his wallet building this citys first five-star boutique hotel. The rooms creak under the weight of Slovenian oak flooring, carved belle poque plasterwork, silk curtains and ebony club chairs. And the bathrooms, with their 80-jet showers and tubs with underwater speakers! Its all set in a French classical villa in embassy-studded Recoleta, so theres plenty of oyster-and-caviar restaurants to hand. Trained to please visiting power brokers and local gentry, the staff can be a bit stuffy, but its hard to beat having your own butler and dipping into the teak-decked rooftop plunge pool. This is a masculine hangout with full red-blooded punch.
