The Inn at English Harbor is an intimate beachfront hotel on the southwest coast of Antigua, just minutes from the historic area of Nelson’s Dockyard. Secretly nestled in 19 acres of wooded headland within the Dockyard National Park, the location gives a sense of privacy and seclusion.
The hotel features 28 well appointed rooms and suites, in three courtyard buildings, sit just back from the beach in tropical landscaped gardens. The spacious suites have a colonial feel with rich mahogany against whitewashed walls, while the beach cabanas follow a cozy cottage style, leading straight on to the beach. Each has a private veranda or terrace overlooking Freeman’s Bay.
The Terrace Restaurant, for fine dining and cocktails, is the perfect place from which to watch the yachts in the bay, while The Reef Bar and Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea as well as drinks in a casual, friendly atmosphere throughout the day.
Activities at the hotel include tennis, kayaking, snorkeling and laser sailing but there is also golf at Cedar Valley or Jolly Harbor championship courses, water-skiing, scuba diving and deep-sea fishing available nearby.
