My passion for travel, adventure and the outdoors started from a young age. From growing up in Cornwall, to family trips abroad, I couldn't wait to keep exploring. This passion grew with a Tourism Management degree and my first trip to Africa at age 18, volunteering in Ghana. The continent soon had my heart and despite solo traveling to other areas of the world, I kept coming back to the African Continent. For me there is nothing more exciting than experiencing and learning about different cultures, meeting new people, enjoying local food and seeing incredible wildlife.

What is the best piece of travel advice you've ever received?
Get to know the locals, whether it's your guide, hotel staff or a transfer driver. People really bring your trip to life and give the best recommendations.

What’s the most incredible natural phenomenon you have witnessed?
Watching the great migration from the sky in Tanzania. We flew over herds of 2 million Wildebeest and Zebra, which looked like tiny ants running from above.

What is the best hotel you've ever stayed at and why?
Jabali Ridge in Ruaha Tanzania was a very special property. Off the beaten track, with an incredible design built into the rock. The wildlife was also amazing.
