Matetsi Victoria Falls provides the utmost in safari luxury while blending seamlessly with its surrounding natural habitat. With 17 miles of private river front access the suites all offer uninterrupted views across the Zambezi, ensuring guests truly feel a sense of privacy while staying at Matetsi. Add to this the 50,000 hectare private wildlife concession and appreciate how remote and exclusive Matetsi Victoria Falls is.

Matetsi Victoria Falls is made up of two camps, both with nine suites, as well as Matetsi River House, a private 4-bedroom villa which is perfect for larger families. The sleek modern design of the assorted buildings is enhanced by the theme of wood and copper running throughout, paying homage to Zimbabwe's mining history. The suites are encompassed by repurposed local materials as a nod to the region's traditional fishing and basket-weaving customs, which gives a natural feel, complementing the modern features of the architecture.

The area around Matetsi is abundant with wildlife, and the lodge offers a plethora of activities to take guests closer to the action. Guests can participate in game drives and walking safaris in order to spot a variety of animals such as elephant, hippo, lion and leopard, and there are birdwatching expeditions to find some of the 366 bird species in the area. Due to its proximity to the river, Matetsi also offers sunrise or sunset cruises and boat excursions. Activities further afield can also be organized at the falls, and adrenaline junkies can try bungee jumping from the Victoria Falls bridge, or white water rafting on the Zambezi.

From the vegetable garden growing organic produce, to the natural materials used in construction, Matetsi Victoria Falls certainly takes its environment and conservation efforts into consideration, resulting in a unique luxury lodge in total harmony with its surroundings.
