Beginning life as the home of Joshua Ward, a successful sea merchant, this beautiful boutique hotel has seen itself transformed into a tavern, office block and rare book shop before finally becoming the fascinating property it is today.
With just 11 guestrooms and suites, The Merchant provides a cozy and intimate atmosphere and highly personalized service making for an enjoyable stay.
