Best time to Visit
Good time to visit
Average time to visit
The best time to visit the UAE is between October and November and then February and March, when temperatures hang around the mid-20s and the humidity is under control. While December and January are generally considered the best months to go, the weather over the last couple of ‘winters’ has been unpredictable with occasional cloud and rain.
The month of Ramadan means hotel rates are heavily discounted, but while outside the resort, Ramadan is strictly adhered to, within the resorts you will notice very little difference.
High summer (July and August) means heavy discounted hotels it’s a great option for a cheap getaway but it will be very very hot and very very humid!

The Park Hyatt has a stylish and minimalist feel, with large rooms facing the sea and cabanas around the pool to relax in, this is a great beach option in Abu Dhabi. They do not offer many water sports as the hotel is a protected area due to turtles nesting on the beach, so keep an eye out to see if you can spot them! The hotel also has a lovely rooftop bar which has amazing sunset views.

I really loved the Park Hyatt. The hotel has a classy, city feel, and the decor has a slightly masculine and minimalist feel so may not be to everyone's taste. The service was superb, with a warm welcome from the moment you stepped through the door. The activities here are a little limited, but for good reason. The beach is environmentally protected as between May to September, turtles come up the beach to nest. If you are staying in one of the villas or beach front suites, you may even be lucky enough to witness them nesting!

The Park Hyatt has so many selling points it's hard to list them all! Itss a lovely property with a real sense of class and the service is outstanding. As you enter the friendly staff greet you at the door to make you feel instantly at home. As you pass down through the property you come to what I think was the best bit about the resort, the pools and garden. The main pool area is one of the most inviting and relaxing I've seen during my travels and if you are up early enough to get one of the double sunbeds set into pools you are in for a real treat. If you fancy a beach day take the one minute stroll past the pools and you have a 9km unspoiled beach paradise which is now a protected area. The property is not just great for couples but also a good option for families as there's a great kids club, family pool and 80% of the rooms connect.

The Park Hyatt is a wonderful property and is without doubt located on the best beach in the country. It is stylish with a contemporary and minimalist feel, very comfortable. I particularly like that all of the restaurants are la carte. There is a great kids club which even has its own (real life) tortoise called Tabbouleh! Don't miss out on chatting to Arabella, the marine biologist, who is really happy to give private talks about the wild and marine life in the area - dolphins swim by and turtles lay their eggs on the beach. It's a great property for both children and adults.

From the moment you set foot in the Park Hyatt you are transported into a cool, minimalist and deeply seductive environment. Low slung furniture, combined with whites, blacks and plenty of gold make it feel much cooler than the average beach resort and more like a boutique city hotel. This does not hide the fact that once you pass through the hotel you are greeted by an incredible pool and gardens sweeping down to a completely tranquil white sand beach completely protected in its natural state due to the turtles that nest here from May to September. Rooms work equally well for families or couples and there is a small family area with a children's club and pool for couples looking to spend an hour or two alone rather than have full time childcare throughout their stay. What really stood out for me was the quality of the restaurant options. There is a very high quality all day dining buffet as well as a very cool grill restaurant serving fantastic steaks (I can vouch for the Wagyu Ribeye) and a selection of fresh seafood. There is also a lovely beach restaurant called The Beach House which looks out over the water from its large terrace and is perfect for casual lunches or super chilled dinners as the sun sets. It is the ideal alternative to the light and airy but not quite as cool St Regis resort next door that ensures there is a hotel for everyone on Saadiyat Island.

You will find Park Hyatt on a 9km sandy stretch of beach on Saadiyat Island. It is a wonderful hotel suitable for couples and families alike. As the beach is environmentally protected there are no motorized water sports available, but kids can make the most of Camp Hyatt Kids Club. The sites of Abu Dhabi are not far away and so for those wanting an adrenaline rush head to Yas Water World or Ferrari World.
