A perfect setting for both couples and families there is plenty for everyone.  With three luxury pools (two of those heated) you can stretch out in the sun and enjoy the stunning views of the ocean as well as having the pool terrace close by for refreshments through the day.  Or just amble down to the sea level platform to cool off in the clear blue waters.  Two tennis courts and fitness center will the keep the active among you satisfied and the in-resort exclusive Reid's Boutique with keep the shopaholics occupied.  This can all be enjoyed knowing that your children are in the safe hands at the Fun@Reid's Children's Club, with their own children's pool, thatched playhouse, play area and activities, available for 3 to 9 year olds between 10am and 5pm.

Belmond Reid’s Palace gardeners ensure that the garden is a riot of color throughout the year. Featuring trees from all over the world, alongside flowering shrubs, including hibiscus, bougainvillea, mimosa, wisteria and rhododendron, and a rich variety of the brilliant flowers that have earned Madeira its title as the ‘Garden of the Atlantic’.  The gardens are synonymous with Belmond Reid’s Palace and in bygone days a walk in the garden would bring you upon Sir Winston Churchill reflecting on his memoirs, or Sir George Bernard Shaw mastering the finer points of the tango on the lawns.
