Boquete Cloud Forest waterfall hike

This amazing hike begins in Falling Waters Nature Reserve and retraces the steps of pre-Columbian Indians into remote virgin cloud forest surrounding the perimeter of Volcan Baru National Park. The trail parallels Quebrada La Mina, a gorgeous creek that meanders through the ridges and valleys above Boquete, falling over a spectacular wall of water and finally spilling into Rio Caldera.
With more than 220 bird species native to the area, including the elusive Resplendent Quetzal, birding opportunities abound. This hike offers the chance to see beautiful waterfalls and rare birds. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the base of one of the most exquisite waterfalls in Boquete and rejuvenate yourself with an invigorating shower.
