Nepal has a Monsoonal climate with four main seasons. Fall and spring are the two most favourable seasons for visiting Nepal. Fall (September to early December) brings in clear weather with sunny days and warm nights. Spring (March to May) with occasional rain falls. From June to September, is the monsoon season. Uncomfortable time to visit as the climate of Nepal at this time of year brings about hot weather and rain falls almost every day.

Itinerary
Nepal offers the most dramatic Himalayan views and is full of culture, stunning architecture and fantastic wildlife. This epic itinerary takes you through the highlights including the culture of Kathmandu, peaks of the Annapurna range and exotic wildlife in Chitwan National Park.

Days 1-4: Kathmandu
You will start your adventure in Katmandu, full of culture, history and an incredible lineage of artistry. The city has a buzzing energy which at times can feel overwhelming but your guide will be at your side making sure that you see the best side of the city. During your three nights here take the opportunity to explore Kathmandu Durbar Square & Patan Durbar Square which hold beautiful examples of traditional Nepalese architecture. For those that are interested in Buddhism we highly suggest a visit to Swayambhunath and Boudhanath Stupa, some of the most revered sites in Kathamandu.
If you are really looking for something special in Kathmandu, an early morning flight around Everest is always a highlight, as you will be able to see most of the highest mountains in the world before breakfast!

Days 4-6: Pokhara
From Kathmandu take a short internal flight to Pokhara where you will have a couple days of relaxing, spending time enjoying the beauty of the city surrounded by the spectacular Annapurna range, before setting off on your trek.

Days 6-8: Annapurna Region
Next on the adventure is your trek into the Annapurna’s where you will walk from lodge to lodge. Throughout your trek you will have the full support of a private guide and porter who care for your every need. The walking pace can be as slow or fast as you like and there are only a few mildly challenging ascents.
The first half of the adventure centers around Ghandruk which offers spectacular views of the Annapurna range. Ghandruk is famous as the major recruitment center for British Gurkhas and if you are looking for that picture-perfect Himalayan village under vast towering mountains then a visit to Ghandruk is a must. Two nights here gives you the opportunity to explore the area further or simply relax in the beautiful surroundings.

Days 8-9: Annapurna Region
From Ghandruk, you will continue your trek as you move on to your next mountain retreat. On the way to Landruk you’ll be treated to continuous views of the Annapurna range, which only get more spectacular as you venture deeper into your trek.

Days 9-10: Annapurna Region
Your final full day of your trek will take you to Majgaun which is a lovely tranquil town surrounded by unspoiled countryside, all waiting to be explored. There are a number of little villages that you can reach from here providing a great insight into local Nepalese rural life.

Days 10-12: Chitwan National Park, Nepal
Today you will say goodbye to the stunning Annapurna range and have your last chance to capture on film your beautiful surroundings. Greeted by small villages and beautiful forests you will make your way to Lumle, sitting at an altitude of 1580m. From here you will continue to the end of your trek, where a car will be waiting for you to transfer you to Pokhara in order to connect to your flight to Chitwan park, ready to start the next part of the adventure!
Chitwan National Park protects over 932sq km of forests and offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Asia. Over your two nights here you will be treated to Jeep Safaris, Jungle Walks, bird-watching, river safaris and plenty of chances for wildlife viewing and photographing. Throughout your time here you will have a highly experienced naturalist at your side to ensure that you make the most out of your time here.Accommodation: Meghauli Serai, Taj Safaris (2 nights)

Days 12-14: Dhulikel
After taking a short flight back to Kathmandu, your final two nights on your itinerary will be spent in Dhulikel, just outside of Kathmandu where you will be able to completely relax and unwind. On departure you will be driven back to Kathmandu airport in order to connect with your flight home.

Kathmandu Durbar Square & Swayambhu Stupa
Head into central Kathmandu for a walking tour around Kathmandu Durbar Sq with your private guide before heading to Swayambhu Stupa overlooking the valley. Finish at Kaiser Cafe for lunch.

Boudhanath Stupa & Pashupatinath, both close to each other to the east of Kathmandu. Boudhanath is the largest Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu whilst Pashupatinath is one of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world.

Pokhara - Rafting the Seti River
Rafting the Seti River in Nepal is one of the most rewarding experiences in this magical country. The Seti River creates an excellent link between trekking in the Annapurna Range and Pokhara with the wildlife reserve of Chitwan.
