Best time to Visit
Good time to visit
Average time to visit
Nepal has a Monsoonal climate with four main seasons. Fall and spring are the two most favourable seasons for visiting Nepal. Fall (September to early December) brings in clear weather with sunny days and warm nights. Spring (March to May) with occasional rain falls. From June to September, is the monsoon season. Uncomfortable time to visit as the climate of Nepal at this time of year brings about hot weather and rain falls almost every day.

Description
The Temple Tree Resort & Spa in Pokhara is located close to Fewa Lake with views over the Annapurna Range beyond. Offering 64 comfortable rooms, the Temple Tree provides a perfect bolt hole to put your feet up before or after a trek in the mountains.
The rooms are housed in two-storey cottages overlooking an inner courtyard with private verandas - perfect for sitting outside in the morning with a Nepali 'chia' in hand. Blending modern comfort with a twist of Himalayan design, the rooms are a welcome relief after a trek in the Annapurna Range. There are also two larger Apartments and also a Suite. Rooms come with TVs, air- condiitioning and modern bathrooms. Don't expect mountain views from your room though, although some rooms on the north side have partial views.
In the central courtyard, there is a lovely pool and pool bar with a laid back atmosphere. There is also a good quality spa using Himalayan techniques that again will ensure your weary legs are refreshed and reinvigorated.
There are two restaurants; the Bay Leaf serves international cuisine and the Tree House above. The Bay Leaf serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfasts are wonderful - lots of fresh fruit and eggs cooked to order with fresh bread and pastries. The Temple Tree Resort & Spa also has the Island Bar which serves drinks and a selection of tapas dishes. Temple Tree also provides WiFi, but don't expect great internet speeds anywhere in Nepal.
Temple Tree Resort & Spa is located about a 10-minute walk from the main Lakeside area which has numerous restaurants and bars which we recommending exploring if you base yourselve here.
Temple Tree is probably the best choice in Pokhara (compared with Fishtail and the Shangri-la), but the town isn't known for the quality of its hotels. It doesn't pretend to be all bells and whistles, but for a couple of nights to explore Pokhara and rest after a trek, it is a superb choice.
Accommodation
There are 47 rooms, two apartments and the Temple Tree Suite. All rooms have LCD TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, a veranda and en-suite bathrooms.
Facilities
Temple Tree Resort has two restaurants - The Bay Leaf is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Tree House is located upstairs. The Island Bar is located between the Swimming Pool and The Bay Leaf Restaurant. Here guests can relax during the day, sample signature cocktails or mocktails and enjoy an array of tapas snacks. The hotel has a spa offering a variety of treatments including baths, saunas, mudpacks, massages and scrubs.
