The lodge itself is a collection of twenty thatched chalets along a strip of sparkling river. Floating decks provide a peaceful spot to watch the world go by and a swimming pool located in the gardens is a great place to cool off. The rest of the main area comprises a restaurant and a bar with a small seating area. All chalets are overlooking the Okavango River, offering guests stunning views throughout their stay.
Activities from Hakusembe River Lodge include guided river safaris, an early morning guided bird watching walk, (over 400 species have been spotted locally), bream and tiger-fishing, and the very popular sunset cruises where refreshments and sundowners are included.
