Ifaty on the south west coast of Madagascar offers the perfect chance to combine wildlife viewing with time on the beach. Offshore there is a coral reef to explore whilst on land the famous spiny forest which includes around 1,000 of the iconic baobab trees and is home to a variety of bird species. After exploring the fauna and flora, relax on the beach and take in local life.
Ifaty is a fishing village just north of Tulear on the south west coast of Madagascar, but offers plenty more than just the chance to relax on the lovely beach.
