An urban sanctuary in the heart of Hong Kong, The Murray is the cities latest addition - a landmark property dominating the skyline along Cotton Tree Drive in the heart of the cities central business district.
Standing slightly apart form most of the cities skyscrapers The Murray dominates the CBD skyline offering visitors expansive views across the park and city - a mean feat for a city center hotel. Overlooking Hong Kong park, The Murray is a sophisticated sleek urban sanctuary and a welcome addition to the cities ever-changing hotel scene.
Featuring just over 330 spacious and luxuriously appointed rooms and suites, this hotel leads the way in terms of style and glamour. One of the major unique selling points of The Murray is the unusually spacious rooms - for a city center Hong Kong hotel these are certainly some of the largest room categories on offer. Not only are the rooms themselves large but the floor to ceiling windows offer mesmerising views and have been uniquely designed to allow maximum daylight into each room while limiting the heat from the sun - an award winning idea designed for the ultimate guest comfort.
The dining provisions on offer at The Murray are vast and varied but all superior in their offerings. The first class rooftop bar and restaurant Popinjay's offers delectable cocktails and sensational city views whist more formal dining is on offer either at the modern international Tai Pan or the exclusive michelin starred Cantonese Guo Fu Lou.
Home to some of Hong Kong's most spacious guest rooms, each of The Murray's 336 suites and rooms have been designed with guest comfort in mind. Styled by renowned architects Foster & Parters each room features beautifully crafted marble bathrooms, sleek furnishings and decadent bathroom amenities whilst offering far reaching views across the park and city landscape. Higher room categories offer excessive space, separate living areas fitted with deluxe furniture and oval free standing baths.
The Murray welcomes children although there are no specific childcare facilities at the hotel.
Wellness and guest relaxation is one of The Murray's key focuses and the provisions on offer highlight the hotels desire for their guests to enjoy a healthy, memorable stay in Hong Kong.
With yoga and traditional Chinese tai chi classes available for all guests alongside outdoor boot-camps for the more adventurous, The Murray inspires a stress free stay for all guests. For those looking for additional pampering the beautifully appointed spa and stylish lap pool will rejeuvenate even the most weary of travelers whilst a state of the art gym featuring brand new equipment is also available for those who prefer to stick to more traditional fitness regimes.
Dining at The Murray is vast and varied reflecting the eclectic cuisine on offer in Hong Kong. Popinjays - the hotel's fashionable rooftop bar and restaurant is famed for its breath-taking views and delectable European cuisine whilst Tai Pan is a modern international brasserie that has firmly captured the hearts of the cities culinary trailblazers. The jewel in the Murray's gourmet crown is without doubt Guo Fu Lou a michelin star winning modern Cantonese restaurant run by renowned chef Andy Chan whilst Murray Lane, the hotel's contemporary cocktail bar attracts many of Hong Kong's elite trend setters with their artisan cocktails.

The infinity pool at the Four Seasons Hong Kong is one of my favorite hotel pools in the world. Having an outdoor pool in chaotic Hong Kong is rare anyway but to have the amazing views across to Kowloon that you get from the Four Seasons pool is breathtaking. On top of that, you can even enjoy music from the underwater speakers - heaven after a busy day of shopping and sightseeing!
