Day 1: Munich – English Garden
Touch down in Munich and begin gently. Your private guide leads you through the English Garden, one of Europe's grandest urban parks. Wander tree-lined paths where locals jog and cycle, pause at the Monopteros for sweeping city views, and discover the Japanese teahouse tucked beside a quiet stream. It's an unhurried introduction to Bavarian life, allowing you both to settle in before the adventure truly begins.
Day 2: Munich – Delicacies & Gondolas
This morning belongs to Munich's culinary heart. Your guide tailors a food tour around your tastes, perhaps hearty Bavarian classics at Viktualienmarkt, or something lighter from its famed delicatessen stalls. Later, step into a gondola at Nymphenburg Palace, gliding along canals once sailed by Bavarian royalty. It's a wonderfully romantic echo of Venice, framed by baroque gardens and Italian-inspired architecture that feels worlds away from the city streets.
Day 3: Chiemsee – Herrenchiemsee PalaceVenture to Lake Chiemsee, Bavaria's so-called inland sea, where you'll board a ferry to Herreninsel. Here stands Herrenchiemsee, King Ludwig II's answer to Versailles – gilded, opulent, and utterly extraordinary. Your private tour reveals the palace's fascinating story: a king's obsession with French grandeur, now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Day 6: Transfer to Lindau
A relaxed transfer day takes you from mountain castles to lakeside elegance. Settle into Lindau, a charming island town on Lake Constance, where medieval streets meet harbor views. This is your chance to slow down, wander at will, and simply enjoy being newlyweds. No agenda, no schedule – just the two of you and a beautiful new setting to explore together.
Day 7: Lake Constance – Cheese & Wine
Lake Constance straddles three countries, and today you'll taste that diversity. Begin in Austria's green pastures with a cheese tasting – proper mountain cheeses made using centuries-old methods. Then cross to Germany's vineyards, where the lake's unique climate produces exceptional whites: Pinot, Riesling, Chardonnay. Day 8: Departure
