In Luxor, you will visit the West Bank, home to the site of Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. For over a thousand years, the kings, queens and nobles of the New Kingdom (1500-1070 BC.) were buried here. Make a visit to Karnak and Luxor Temples, boasting delicate works of architecture constructed during the Middle Kingdom.
Along the way, you will pass through Edfu with its magnificent Temple of Horus, the largest sanctuary built during the period of King Ptolemy. You will also visit Kom Ombo temple, dedicated to the crocodile God of Sobek.
