Good time to visit
Average time to visit
Whilst Colombia is generally considered a year-round destination, the Caribbean coast has a hot and humid climate, typical of the tropics and rains can be experienced here at any time of year. The ‘drier’ season is from December to March, while the most rainfall comes in October and November. The best time to visit is the dry season although visitors to Tayrona should note that the national park is closed in February. Medellín is well known as the ‘city of the eternal spring’ thanks to it’s pleasant temperatures and sunny days year-round.
