To start planning your vacation to Fasano Sao Paulo
The Fasano Sao Paulo is one of Sao Paulo's finest hotels and is located in the leafiest and trendiest shopping district of Jardins. The Fasano is elegant, discreet and effortlessly stylish, and to top it off has one of the city’s top restaurants.
For more than 100 years, the Fasano family has epitomized the finest in Italian hospitality, culture and style in Brazil. The Fasano is located on a private street surrounded by luxury shops, designer boutiques and fine restaurants, and is just blocks from the business districts of Paulista and Faria Lima Avenues. The hotel’s decor has been inspired by the 1930s and 1940s with a contemporary twist.
Designed to provide space and comfort, there are 91 guest rooms spaced out over 20 floors, all with fine views over Sao Paulo. The latest technology is combined with stylish design, such as linen curtains, Persian kilim rugs, king size beds with Egyptian cotton sheets and goose feather pillows, Venetian framed artwork and Murano vases.
Since owner Rogerio Fasano’s grandfather came to Sao Paulo from Milan in 1900, the name has been synonymous with the city’s finest restaurants. A century later their first hotel opened in 2003. National and International Jazz stars also perform in the Baretto bar, a cool meeting point.
Accommodation at the Fasano comprises 81 rooms and 10 suites, cleverly designed by the renowned Philippe Starck, and featuring private balconies separated by mirrored screens, elegant hardwood floors, dali-esque shaped ear-shaped mirrors, Sergio Rodrigues chairs, strategically placed king size beds with 300 count Egyptian cotton linens and goose down pillows, LCD TVs, wireless internet and wireless telephones that can be used throughout the hotel.
Children are welcome to come and stay at the Fasano Sao Paulo. Babysitting can easily be arranged on request and inter-connecting rooms are available.
Fasano has an excellent spa with heated indoor swimming pool, dry and steam sauna, two Orufo baths, five massage rooms, and a fully equipped fitness center. There is also a superb gourmet restaurant and a bar with live music every night.
The Fasano is an excellent base from which to discover the contemporary city of Sao Paulo, home to a wealth of first class galleries, boutiques, restaurants and museums. After a day our exploring why not chill out at the hotel spa and indulge in a luxury treatment.

The Fasano simply oozes class. The decor is a little sombre and may not be to everyone's taste, but the location is perfect - right in the heart of Jardins, near great shops and restaurants, and its Italian restaurant is simply incredible.
Located in the Jardins district, home to some of Sao Paulo's finest boutiques, this high-rise hotel offers a stone-and-wood design palette sampling deco- elements from the 20's and 30's. The entrance of the hotel, flanked by a restaurant and high-rise residential condos, is well guarded by ear-plugged security detail seemingly ready for an invasion. Instead, a steady stream of Brazil's business elite and a few tourists, arrives to a sprawling lounge area assembled with leather settees and comfortable club chairs inviting to two-handed high balls of scotch or gin. Adjacent to the lobby lounge is Baretto (which actually means Jazz Bar in Portugese), a New-York style club where men still wear three-piece suits – albeit with a 30-inch waist and miniskirt-strutting supermodel on his arm. An enclosed rooftop pool, surrounded in limestone with skyline views of the city, offers a top-notch fitness center to keep the Brazilian torsos in shape. The Fasano family, who own and operate the hotel, are well known in São Paulo as restaurateurs with a history spanning over as 100 years. Their adjacent flagship restaurant, called simply Fasano, has presided over the address (itself named for great-grandfather Vittorio Fasano) since 1990 – thirteen years before the hotel itself.
Stylish and grown-up, Fasano is Sao Paulo's most elegant hotel. It's like a slick, old-school gentleman's club, comfortable and understated. It's also right next to the best shopping street in the city; so when you're drunk from all the retail you can escape to the hotel pool (essential in a city like Sao Paulo) and have the best massage in town. From your plumped-up bed, take in views over an urban landscape that looks just like Gotham and is swarming with helicopters. At night, eat in the restaurant, the most glamorous Italian around - locals book rooms just so that they can get a table.
The Fasano is the best hotel in Latin America or, who knows, anywhere else.
