Boasting an onsite dock, guests can enjoy kayaking and paddleboarding in the calm waters of Kachemak Bay. A boat trip to Gull Island, a seabird sanctuary alive with puffins and kittiwakes, is a great opportunity to see more marine wildlife including otters, seals, porpoises, and sea lions. While an exciting and memorable whale watching excursion is a highlight of any Alaskan trip. For added adventure, guests can choose from a range of optional à la carte excursions.

With a focus on holistic health, guests can also choose from one private wellness session including massage, yoga, personal training, mindfulness, and forest bathing. The lodge also has an attractive 2.5-mile hiking trail with panoramic forest and coastal views. All stays include a guided interpretative hike along this Local Native Trail.
