Selous Game Reserve

At the heart of Tanzania, Selous is the country’s largest reserve and home to its last remaining black rhinos. Dense forest and open grasslands create a diverse terrain bisected by the Rufiji River, its vast waterways attracting yellow-billed storks and herds of giraffe and elephants, with the unrivalled opportunity to observe them while drifting along on a boat safari.

With just a handful of camps in Selous’ 48,000 sq km, you’re unlikely to come across any other jeeps, only an exceptional wealth of wildlife and birds.
