Follow Jesus' path from Zion Gate through Jewish Quarter, Wailing Wall, Dome of the Rock, Kotel Tunnels, Tomb of the Virgin Mary, Garden of Gethsemane, Way of the Cross, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Armenian & Christian Quarters and Mount Zion.
Start your day from Mount of Olives, with its world's oldest and largest Jewish cemetery, as well as an impressive bird-eye's view of the Old City from here.
As you descend, you will follow the path of Jesus' story. Start from the Zion Gate which leads to the Jewish Quarter of the Old City, there you will see the famous Wailing Wall and its holiest shrine of Dome of the Rock. (Please note that entrance to the Dome is not allowed on Friday or Saturday, in which we can arrange a visit to inside the Dome on a separate day.)
Continue to the Jewish Quarter of the Old City, there you will see the famous Wailing Wall and its holiest shrine of Dome of the Rock (entrance to the Dome of the Rock is now allowed on Friday or Saturday).
Walk along the Way of the Cross (Via Dolorosa) that marks the 14 stations of the Cross on the day of Jesus’ crucifixion, the path ends at Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the site believed by millions of Catholics and Eastern Orthodox to be where Jesus was crucified, buried and resurrected.
