Old Jerusalem: Jewish Quarter & Wailing Wall
Start from the Zion Gate which leads to the Jewish Quarter of the Old City, there you will see the famous Wailing Wall and its holiest shrine of Dome of the Rock.
The Western Wall, or the Wailing Wall, was erected as part of the expansion of the Second Jewish Temple. Due to its connection to the Temple Mount, the Wailing Wall is the holiest place where Jews are permitted to pray. Here, experience the outpouring of emotions from the Jewish.
This is also the site of the holiest shrine. The Dome of the Rock is without a doubt the most recognizable landmark in Jerusalem. Entrance to the Dome of the Rock is not allowed on Friday or Saturday.
