Israel Museum

Jerusalem, Israel

Highlight of the Israel Museum includes the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea scrolls are displayed, as well as the Holy Land Model during the times of Jesus Christ.

Built in 1965, the Israel Museum is home to an impressively comprehensive collection detailing the archaeology of the Holy Land, as well as the Jewish Art and Life.

The Shrine of the Book is the undeniable highlight, where the world's oldest biblical manuscript known as the "Dead Sea Scrolls" is stored.

Right next to the Shrine is a 1:50 model of the Jerusalem during the Second Temple Period, which helps us to imagine life in the Holy Land circa 516 BCE and 70 CE.
