Located in a quiet spot on the outskirts of the traditional hamlet of Nantgerel, Chalet Bergeronnette is within walking distance of Raffort village and lift. This impressive chalet boasts traditional alpine architecture and chic modern interiors. Sleeping up to 14 guests in 7 ensuite bedrooms, it’s a great option for families and large groups looking for an upscale base in Meribel.
The main open plan living, dining and kitchen area has a central feature fireplace that separates the split-level lounge from the intimate dining area and kitchen. The vaulted ceiling, huge picture windows, spectacular mountain views and comfortable sofas, make this a great spot for socialising and entertaining. Outside, there’s a spacious terrace for fresh mountain air, as well as a hot tub for soaking with a glass of wine as you recharge after an active day.
Most of the 7 ensuite bedrooms can be configured as twin or double rooms for maximum flexibility and 3 include a private balcony. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, along with a sauna and ski room, while a further ensuite bedroom with balcony is located on the first floor off the living area. The remaining 4 ensuite bedrooms are split between the North and South Wings on the upper floor and 2 include a private balcony.
All housekeeping, cooking and logistics are taken care of by the chalet host, private chef and concierge service. Guests enjoy cooked breakfast, afternoon tea, pre-dinner drinks and a wonderful three-course dinner paired with wines, on five days a week. A Continental breakfast is served two days a week and guests can self-cater or head into Meribel for dinner on the staff’s night off. Guests also benefit from a daily driver service from 8am to midnight.
The closest lift, Raffort is within easy walking distance, along with Raffort village, home to the popular L’Atelier Restaurant and Martagon, an authentic local bar. The lift is part of the Olympic Gondola which connects to La Chaudanne lift hub, site of the main ski school meeting point and further lift access across the region. Meribel is a 5-minute drive, while the nearest airport is Chambery, a 1.5-hr drive. Grenoble, Geneva and Lyon Airports are all 2-hrs away.
