Visit Antiparos

Unlike its neighbour Paros, Antiparos has stayed well off the radar and is the perfect place to support Greek-owned businesses while getting some much-needed relaxation. Antiparos is a quiet island home to traditional tavernas and beautiful scenery, and the sunset views from the west coast are well worth the trip over.

Just off the southwest coast of the island, Antiparos is a short ferry journey away and is easily reached from Paros throughout the day and into the small hours of the morning. Bike Tours along the Coast

For an upbeat pace on your Paros island holiday, take a bike or e-bike tour along Paros’s idyllic shores.

Best for confident cyclists, start in Alki, a quaint fishing port, and follow a circular route heading inland before ending back at the coast for the “catch of the day”. It’s an incredible way to see all the vistas, including the rolling hills in the countryside, the traditional villages, and the looming islands on the horizon.

Which is the best area to stay in Paros?

A holiday in Paros is about reading, swimming, eating, relaxing and doing it all again, so our preferred area to stay in is Naoussa Bay in the north, where you have direct access to the best beaches in Paros and the most exquisite accommodation.
How do you get to Antiparos?

There is a direct ferry between Paros and Antiparos, and when you book through Scott Dunn we’ll handle all the logistics for you.

For travellers after a bit more comfort, we can also arrange a private Paros boat tour that turns the journey there into an experience itself. Along with taking you to Antiparos, your private boat will also tour you around the island, highlighting ancient relics as well as nearby islets.
Is it better to stay on Paros or Antiparos?

While you can stay on both Paros and Antiparos, there are a few things worth considering.

Paros is a larger island, and as such, there are more things to do. Aside from beach days, it’s worth exploring the countryside and inland villages, as well as touring around the fishing ports. You could easily spend 2-3 nights on holiday in Paros before heading to the next island, indulging in the local cuisine and scenic nightlife for those interested.

Anitparos is very much off-the-beaten-track, and best for a day trip or just a night at The Rooster wellness hotel. While the island is beautiful and there’s a growing scene, it’s still much quieter than its neighbouring islands.
