As well as a selection of studio and one-bedroom suites, The Ranch LB boasts some fantastic family-friendly accommodation with a collection of two-bedroom cottages clustered around the pool and the pièce de résistance, The Treehouse with its quirky octagonal exterior showcasing large picture windows on all sides, two bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.
Each of the 97 guestrooms is spread throughout the grounds, all just steps from the main hub where you can find a salt water swimming pool and hot tub, restaurant, bar and terrace which is the perfect spot for breakfast, as well as a spa and access to the resort's renowned golf course. This historical 9-hole course remains a firm favourite among locals and there is a jovial atmosphere at the club house, from where you can take a refreshing cocktail or coffee to go before beginning a round. Look out for the resident deer which seem to have found a comfortable home in the canyon and can often be seen in the distance as you take a swing!
Aliso Beach provides a playground for adventures to suit all ages, and a Junior Rangers Programme keeps things exciting (and a touch educational) for little ones. On-site resort activities include golfing, sand volleyball, bocce ball, stargazing, live music and other family friendly activities. Laguna Beach offers 15,000 acres of trails (offsite) that allow guests to enjoy running, hiking or mountain biking. The Ranch at Laguna Beach offers mountain bike rentals that includes transportation to the trails, while guests of the resort also receive fifteen percent off watersport rentals at nearby Dana Point Harbor which includes kayaking, surfing, stand up paddle boarding and jet skiing. This peaceful spot at the southern end of the beach is the perfect place for some laid-back exploration and simply unwinding.
