The Cambrian Adelboden

This Welsh-owned hotel sits within one of the Bernese Oberland’s most attractive mountain resorts.   The 72 rooms and suites are light and airy with clean lines, modern furnishings, and a muted palette of sage, grey and pine. Junior Suites boast an open plan seating area, while the Family Suites include two separate bedrooms and living area. We’d recommend the lavish Cambrian Suite for couples, while larger families and groups can book either the Adelboden or Snowden Suites, which can comfortably sleep up to five guests.   Acclaimed chef, Bryn Williams who has previously worked with both Marco Pierre White and Michel Roux, has created a delicious menu featuring local and seasonal produce with Welsh influences. A highlight is the Chefs Choice, an indulgent 5-course menu with wine pairing in the relaxed ambience of the dining room. For less formal dining, head to the Axe Bar to relax and revive overlooking the mountain landscapes with a drink and nutritious bar snack. With both heated indoor and outdoor pools, the award-winning spa offers the ultimate mountain indulgence after a day of outdoor fun.
