There is a very big focus on gastronomy at Vila Joya. The terrace is the place where guests come together to enjoy beautiful views and spectacular cuisine. At lunch and dinnertime, the terrace is transformed into a two Michelin star restaurant headed by Dieter Koschina, the Austrian chef who has been working at Vila Joya for more than 28 years. The Atlantic Ocean on the doorstep of the villa is a great source of inspiration for the chef. He predominantly uses fresh and light ingredients from Portugal to produce a daily changing six-course tasting menu; placing particular emphasis on flavour and presentation.
For guests who fancy something lighter for lunch, the Pool Restaurant is the perfect place. Selected snacks, freshly grilled fish and delicious salads are served here daily all afternoon. Furthermore, the beach restaurant “Vila Joya Sea” offers guests an enchanting setting for enjoying light dishes, including salads, ceviche, freshly caught fish, grilled meat skewers and classic steak cuts served from a typical Japanese Robata open grill.
