Occupying its own private peninsula on the east coast of Mauritius, the resort is framed by the open waters of the Indian Ocean on one side and a sheltered turquoise lagoon on the other. Two kilometres of white-sand beach wrap around 60 acres of lush tropical gardens, creating a rare sense of complete seclusion.
The resort’s 142 rooms and suites are designed to blur the line between indoors and out, with expansive terraces and sliding doors opening onto garden, lagoon or ocean views. Interiors are light-filled and contemporary, with a subtle nod to the island’s heritage. Colonial-inspired architecture and Creole character are refreshed with contemporary finishes and an unmistakable sense of place. The first Indian Ocean boutique by Brunello Cucinelli has also opened within the resort, a fitting reflection of its understated refinement.
A new generation of villas elevates the offering further, most notably the exceptional Villa One, a private, multi-bedroom residence with expansive living space, generous outdoor areas and dedicated service, designed for families seeking complete privacy without sacrificing access to the resort’s facilities. In addition, an exclusive collection of two- to six-bedroom Private Homes combines residential-style living with the full breadth of One&Only’s signature service, creating a seamless blend of independence and indulgence.
Cuisine has always been central to Le Saint Géran’s identity, and the resort’s seven restaurants and bars offer a compelling variety of settings and flavours. At Tapasake, Japanese Nikkei dishes are served in an iconic over-water setting, the perfect spot for sunset. PRIME specialises in premium cuts and seafood, and newly opened RIVA brings an Italian spirit to relaxed poolside lunches and beach club afternoons, complemented by RIVA Deli for those quick bites.
KidsOnly and OneTribe programmes service our younger Explorers and Teenagers respectively. Balancing entertainment with education, from coral conservation workshops to Mauritian cooking classes, younger guests are thoroughly entertained.
The resort is home to the only Guerlain Spa in Mauritius, offering signature treatments, immersive rituals and an exclusive retail collection of fragrances and skincare. Keep active in the fully equipped fitness centre, yoga, tennis and padel courts. The calm lagoon is ideal for kayaking, paddleboarding and water-skiing, while the reef-facing ocean side offers snorkelling and deep sea adventure. The resort is also one of the island’s leading kitesurfing destinations, with a dedicated school and wakeboard academy.
Beachside Butler service ensures every detail is quietly taken care of, from chilled towels to perfectly timed sundowners. Beyond the beach, cultural excursions into local villages and artisan workshops provide a deeper connection to Mauritian life, completing the Mauritian experience.
