Winner of the World's Best Ski Boutique Hotel in 2014 and 2015
Ideal for skiers looking for great powder skiing combined with luxury accommodation, The Vale Niseko is at the heart of the skiing action at Upper Hirafu village in Niseko. Winner of the World's Best Ski Boutique Hotel in both 2014 and 2015 it has an ideal location on the slopes and prides itself on a high level of personal service.
Rooms are decorated in a minimalist design with comfort in mind. The ultra-chic penthouses feature private onsens and stunning views over the ski run, even the bath tub has a view.
For skiing convenience The Vale is just five metres from the Family Ace chairlift and is at the bottom of the gentle Family Ace run making it ideal for all skiers to be able to ski back to the hotel. After an active day on the slopes guests will welcome a relaxing soak in the natural hot springs of the hotel onsen or heading straight to the bar for some après-ski.
Niseko is blessed with incredible snowfall which is largely due to its location on the west of Hokkaido, directly in the path of the winds blowing down from Siberia, with the Japan sea and the Pacific Ocean on either side. This means that when the snow falls, it's dry and deep, which is why so many people flock to this part of Japan for the ultimate powder experience. Skiing here is a dream for all levels of skier and there are plenty of 'non-ski' activities too such as reindeer sledge ridges, snowshoeing and snowmobiling.
