Hakone is part of the Fuji Hakone National Park which has so much natural beauty. The Hyatt is set on a hill and from the rooms there are some stunning scenic views of the surrounding mountains, Lake Ashi and Owakudawi Valley, otherwise known as the crater.
The spacious rooms are comfortable and let in plenty of light to provide a fresh, airy feel. A stay here will allow you to experience the on-site onsen, which is a mineral hot spring spa used as a Japanese bathing facility. Onsens are said to have healing and health promoting facilities and they are very popular with hotel guests.
You will be encouraged to change into the Japanese dress for your evening drinks and meal in the hotel, which creates a fantastic, authentic atmosphere and gives you an idea of local Japanese ways of life, while you are dining at either the Sushi Dining Room or French Cuisine Restaurant.
