Gallery Hotel Art is one of the four hotels in the Lungarno Collection owned by the Ferragamo family. It has a fabulous location just off the Ponte Vecchio and within very easy walking distance to all of Florence's wonderful sights, shops and restaurants.

Gallery Hotel Art has 74 sleek rooms and suites, designed in a contemporary style with a masculine edge - dark wooden floors, leather trimmed furniture and elegant mood lighting. Walls are decorated with modern art and the rooms are furnished with beautifully crafted Florentine textiles and furniture. Sandstone bathrooms have double sinks, showers over the bathtub and some have separate walk in showers as well. The suites on the upper floors of the hotel have lovely terraces complete with day beds and tables and chairs, and spectacular views across the city. The suites are spacious and perfect for families.
The Library is an inviting room to relax and enjoy a cocktail and is rearranged each morning for breakfast. There is a minimalist Asian-inspired bar and fusion restaurant popular with locals as well as hotel guests. If you feel like a change of scenery you can dine around at the other restaurants in the Lungarno Collection - Caffe dell'Oro just next door in Portrait Firenze, or Borgo San Jacopo, where guests can enjoy a Michelin-starred meal in the comfort of Hotel Lungarno.
As with Gallery Hotel Art's sister properties, you can follow the history of the Ferragamo brand, starting with the fashion label portrayed in the framed original sketches and many photos of celebrities and models wearing the beautiful clothes and shoes. You will also be given free entry to the Ferragamo museum which is well worth a visit if you are interested in fashion.
When to visit
Gallery Hotel Art hosts a multitude of art exhibitions each year. The fun artistic atmosphere continues in the hotel’s Japanese and Peruvian bar, Fusion. Don’t miss the Thursday DJ nights for tapas and sushi.
