- Accommodates 100 passengers
-
Fully inclusive of meals, drinks, excursions and tips
Boasting refined styling and service, Silversea is prominent in the luxury cruise world. Intimate and personalised, offering the creature comforts of an ultra-luxury cruise, while the boat size is kept small enough to ply the narrow waterways and smaller ports. Outstanding service with nearly one crew member for every guest, and all suites benefit from dedicated butler service.
With one of the highest staff to guest ratios of all of the ships to sail the Galapagos Islands, Silver Origin puts service at the forefront of its cruises around the Galapagos Islands, one of the most exciting and unique wildlife destinations in South America. Accompanied by top naturalist guides, multiple daily excursions are included to maximise your time in the archipelago, getting up close to the fearless endemic wildlife. During a cruise you will have the opportunity to snorkel with sea lions, penguins and sea turtles, walk alongside land iguanas, marine iguanas, brightly coloured Sally Lightfoot crabs and giant tortoises, and spot blue-footed boobies and frigatebirds along the shores on Zodiac excursions.
The ship itself is beautifully designed, accommodating a maximum of 100 passengers, the maximum allowed at any one landing site, which means you'll never be sharing landing sites with visitors from other boats. All of the suites are stylish and come complete with ensuite bathrooms and verandas, along with plenty of storage for luggage. There is ample social space on board the ship, with indoor lounges with panoramic windows and outdoor space complete with a firepit, perfect for cosy evenings.
Sustainability has also been a focus when designing the Silver Origin, and state-of-the-art technology ensures minimum impact on the protected Galapagos ecosystem with a specially designed anchor to reduce damage to the sea beds. Water purification systems are also in place in every suite to reduce the need for plastic bottles.
We recommend Silver Origin for families and couples wishing to explore the Galapagos in comfort and style.
